The Methods Consultants program connects students, faculty, and researchers with experienced members of our university community who are willing to offer guidance on specific research methods, tools, and approaches.
Faculty who volunteer to serve as Methods Consultants are available to answer questions, provide clarification on tricky methodological issues, or point you toward helpful resources.
Are you interested in connecting with a consultant? Or are you a faculty member who would like to volunteer? Please send an email here: mwilliamson@ubalt.edu

Dr. Williamson is available to consult on both quantitative and qualitative research methods. He can assist with using software such as Stata and R for statistical analysis, and enjoys helping others learn how to collect original data and build custom datasets. On the qualitative side, he can offer guidance on research design and data collection and analysis. He can assist with how to use tools like Excel and Taguette to organize, code, and analyze qualitative data.
